Athena

 

She was the statue of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. She had stood in the museum gardens for one hundred years until a lightning bolt struck her and awakened her. 

She discovered she had been blessed with the power to bring any artwork to life simply by touching it  with her magical sword and was able to step inside the painting to talk to its inhabitants and get inside the mind of the subjects and the creator. 

She loved to help the artworks that were in trouble, touching  "Guernica" to free the people from the horrors of war , She guided the anxious man to safety in "the scream" and led "Lady Jane Grey" away from her henchmen.

She was happy helping her new friends ,but she only came out at night, when the museum was closed, and returned to her pedestal unnoticed .before dawn.
